Sales lady P16 M richer

MANILA, Philippines - A 31-year-old sales lady from Makati City on Tuesday claimed the jackpot of the 6/49 Super Lotto’s Jan. 22 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

PCSO acting chairman Jose Ferdinand Rojas said the player hit the six- digit winning combination 12-04-33-05-10-07, which had a prize of P16 million.

The winner, married with one child, picked the numbers from the birthdates of her family members.

She has been a long-time lotto bettor, Rojas said.

He added the winner plans to buy a house and lot and save for her child’s future.

Twenty-nine other players won P25,070 each after they guessed five digits of the winning combination.
