Security agency manager killed in Makati

MANILA, Philippines - A security agency’s operations manager was shot dead in Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo in Makati City on Friday night.

Robert Wong, 36, was about to leave the office of Sunstar Security Agency at the intersection of Orense and Del Carmen streets at around 7 p.m. when he was approached by an unidentified man, police said.

The man shot Wong four times with a .45 caliber pistol, then fled on a motorcycle.

Wong was declared dead on arrival at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Global City.

Investigators have yet to determine the motive behind the attack.
