Monumento traffic rerouted for Bonifacio Day

MANILA, Philippines - Vehicular traffic in the EDSA-Monumento area will be rerouted for the observance of the 151st Bonifacio Day, the Caloocan City government said yesterday.

Portions of EDSA, Rizal Avenue and Samson Road leading to the Bonifacio Monument will be closed to traffic from midnight last night up to 9 a.m. tomorrow.

The celebration will be headed by Caloocan Mayor Oscar Malapitan, with Robin Padilla and the cast of “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo,” a Metro Manila Film Festival entry, gracing the occasion.
