Missing man found dead in Navotas

MANILA, Philippines - The search for a 32-year-old man, who went missing Saturday, ended yesterday morning after his remains were found in the waters off a private shipyard in Navotas City.

Ronnie Pascual was identified through documents found in his wallet, police officers said.

Hector Mendoza, a security guard of R & LT Shipyard, told Police Officer 3 Joey Ogatia III that while he was making his rounds, he saw a body floating in the water at around 5:30 a.m.

Investigators found no signs of physical injury on Pascual’s body.
