Seaman claims P20.8-M lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines - A 50-year-old seaman from Manila has claimed the jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto’s Aug. 11 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

The winner, who is married and has four children, guessed the six-digit winning combination of 09-10-11-31-32-42, acting PCSO chairman Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said.

The winner – a lotto player for the past 10 years – spent P40 for two tickets, one for a randomly picked combination and another for a set of numbers he maintains, Rojas said.
