MANILA, Philippines - A one-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped in Quezon City the other day.

The victim’s father, Lovelio Mendoza Sr., reported the incident to the Quezon City Police District Station 2 yesterday, according to QCPD director Senior Superintendent Richard Albano.

Mendoza told investigators that his son was with his mother when an unidentified man snatched him at 10 a.m. Tuesday at a store in Barangay San Antonio.

The man was later seen carrying the boy at a nearby covered court.

A resident told police that the man took the boy to a tricycle then drove away.
