2 of 4 minors arrested for SSS office break-in

CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested Friday two of the four juveniles that broke into the SSS branch in A. Del Rosario Street in barangay Guizo, Mandaue City and were turned over on the same day to the City Social Welfare Services.

The 11-year-old was arrested at his home in Basubas Compound in barangay Tipolo while the other was picked up from his residence in sitio Maharlika, barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City.

However, the four laptops stolen by the minors were not recovered by the police.

The minors said the laptops are with a certain "Macmac" and a certain "Calvin."

SPO2 Marcos Noval of the Investigation and Detection Management Bureau of the Mandaue City Police Office said it was the second time for the 11-year-old to be arrested. Last year, he was arrested for stealing a security guard's service firearm.  (FREEMAN)
