City to acquire mobile clinic

CEBU, Philippines – The Lapu-Lapu City government will purchase mobile clinic to improve the delivery of health services up to the barangay level.

During the city council regular session, members of the City Council were informed by City Planning and Development Officer Perla Amar that the purchase of mobile clinic was included in the proposed budget for City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

Amar said the purchase of mobile clinic is important in the delivery of health services to the people of the city, especially at the barangay level.

The city health department has been tasked by the city government to implement plans and programs to improve the health services.

City health officials said the intensified campaign against dengue is being given priority.

With the support of the Department of Education, the city health department has bolstered its massive education campaign.

Members of the City Council assured their full support to the plan of buying mobile clinic.
