Cops net man for drugs

CEBU, Philippines- A buy-bust operation in Lapu-Lapu City resulted to the arrest of a man Saturday morning in Sitio Seaside, Barangay Pajo.

The drug task force of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office led by Police Inspector Judith Besas arrested Ravi Augusto, 19, who is a resident of the same barangay. The entrapment transpired around 8:30 in the morning.

Police authorities confiscated from his possession three small and two medium packs of suspected shabu. Two P100 bills served as the marked money in busting Augusto. Also taken from the suspect's possession were P700 believed to be proceeds from his illegal activity, an aluminum foil and a cellular phone.

Police authorities will be filing a case against the suspect in violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
