New Mitsubishi Motors dealer outlet and FUSO dealership soonto emerge in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu

MANILA, Philippines — Fast Autoworld Philippines Corp. (FAPC), Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC)’s authorized dealership, broke ground for the establishment of an additional Mitsubishi Motors outlet and the first FUSO dealership in Lapu-Lapu City. FAPC–Lapu-Lapu branch is FAPC’s third outlet in Cebu and 10th Mitsubishi outlet in the Vis-Min region. Other dealership outlets of FAPC are in Tacloban, Ormoc, Tagbilaran, Dumaguete, Cagayan de Oro, Butuan and Ozamis.
The construction of an additional Cebu outlet was decided by the principals of FAPC to address the growing vehicle sales and service demands in Cebu Province. The FUSO dealership will also be constructed beside the Mitsubishi Motors Lapu-Lapu branch to specifically attend to the medium- to heavy-truck requirements of Cebu-based businesses. These two separate facilities are expected to start operation in November 2018.
The newest additions to MMPC’s current network are located along ML Quezon National Highway, Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City. The 10,505-sqm land is divided in two to give way to both facilities. An additional 2,790-sqm area is reserved for future expansion. The FAPC – Lapu-Lapu branch will feature a showroom that can flaunt nine car displays. The dealership will also be equipped with a full-service center with 23 service work bays which can accommodate various services from periodic maintenance to major body pairs of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Meanwhile, the FUSO outlet of FAPC is going to have a separate showroom, which can display up to five light- to heavy-duty trucks. This FUSO outlet is also equipped with seven work bays, which can cater all types of services for trucks.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by MMPC Vehicle Sales and Marketing EVP and managing director Shigeru Ogura, Fuso Sales and Marketing AVP Franjudel Racadio, FUSO After-sales AVP Julius Nera, MMPC Vehicle Sales and Marketing senior manager Masaaki Yamada, FAPC chairman Victor Chiongbian, vice chairman Albert Chiongbian and president Julia Menchavez. Representing the local government are Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza, Vice Mayor Marcial Ycong and Marigondon Barangay Chairwoman Lucrecia Amores.
