The healing power of green

FROM THE HEART - Gina Lopez - The Philippine Star

Sickness... Disease... It’s part of life. It shouldn’t be viewed negatively. It’s just a sign that we have to up the bar. I am more inclined towards the direction of self-healing. I’ve done it and I am doing it on myself. It works.

These are some of the techniques which I have found that works:

• Music. Visit this website: https://wholetones.com/. The music is amazing. My experience is it goes straight to the heart and does cause subtle changes in one’s physical body. Read the testimonials found on the website. You can just download the music from the Net. It costs $99. I noticed when I play it in the car after work, I am not as tired when I get home.

• Light. I have this amazing laser that infuses angelic frequencies. I use it several times a day. I infuse all my food and water with it especially when I go out of town. It does the same things as the Zero Point Laser with the addition of angelic frequencies.

What works for me also is feeling the Divine, then bathing my whole self with light. It has an uplifting quality to it. I do it when I wake up and after meditation.

• Green. Being surrounded by green is the best thing. By green, I mean nature. In my home, I have built a nature sanctuary that gets more lush as the years go by. The other day, the household help that cleans my room excitedly came to me and said, “Ma’am look at this picture...” And she showed me a picture of owls! Wow! I hurriedly went downstairs and took a picture of them! Owls in my home!  And sometimes, there are five of them! In the mornings, I hear all kinds of sounds even when I meditate. I find the sounds of nature, especially the birds, very healing...

• Lemon grass. Juiced and raw. Take this at night. It’s great for detoxing. I don’t like the taste so I mix it with pineapple juice to make it more palatable.

I just finished a four-day calamansi and maple syrup fast. It was great! The prescribed is 10 days, but I decided to cut it. I haven’t done this in years. But Dr. Albert Jo was here last week so I got inspired to take it on again.

I find Dr. Jo amazing in terms of health information. Watch this link of his lecture with the employees of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSMICnlUUS4.

Finally, watch this video of Bhutan’s Prime Minister: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCLZT5m6jaA.  I find it so inspiring! It got me teary-eyed. I would like to build “mini-Bhutans” which are carbon negative in the different islands in the Philippines.

Since part of Bhutan’s Program is free health- care for all and I don’t have the money to do this, what we are doing now in all our community projects is teaching the communities to do backyard gardening of medicinal herbs so that they can invigorate their immune system and not have to go to the pharmacy to address any illness in the family.

I am very optimistic about this because I haven’t taken any medicines for a decade and I am very well so I know it can be done.

Check out this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mow57yo4gvmxkf6/Health%20for%20All.docx?dl=0 to see some of the medicinal plants that will be planted. If you need advice doing this, let us know.

I would also like to invite you to attend our meditation workshops on May 14, Saturday, 3-6 p.m. at the Function Room of Luna Gardens in Rockwell, and a workshop on May 21-22.  On May 23–29, there will be rigorous intensive aimed at de-clogging the subconscious. I have done this several times. It can be life-changing.  Call Sarah Bulan at 415-2272 local 3791 or 09178247628 or email smbulan@abs-cbnfoundation.com if you are interested in meditation or IST.

I find life so exciting! There is so much out there for our growth and well-being. There are so many wonderful people who are there to help us in our journey. What is needed is a positive attitude and an openness to what life has to offer. Then magic happens.
