18-year-old Aussie gives birth to baby the size of a 3-month-old
MANILA, Philippines — A woman in Australia gave birth to one of the largest babies ever born in Western Australia.
According to CBC, Breanna Sykes, had to undergo a last-minute Caesarean section when doctors found out that the baby was too big for a normal delivery.
"If I try and push the baby, it would break my pelvis," the 18-year-old mom told Australia's Seven Network.
According to several reports, the baby named Ziad is almost the size of a three-month-old baby, with a body length of 57 centimeters and weight of 5.9 kilograms. A normal baby weighs just half of Ziad's weight.

Meanwhile, despite the baby's unusual size, doctors say he is perfectly healthy.
