Stance’s Dwayne Wade collection made a colorful splash on the local market just a few weeks ago.
More than just being a staple in one’s casual outfits, socks can actually be a style statement as well, adding a hint of spunk into your look.
Proving itself to be not just a passing trend, Stance, the leader in the sock market and innovators in the category, continuously comes out with eye-catching selections of new designs mostly drawn from the brand’s collaborations with different fashion risk takers.
To celebrate these exciting new collections, the brand has lined up a series of launches, first of which features NBA superstar Dwayne Wade’s latest designs.
Launched at the Shangri-La Mall Activity Center, invited guests, which included members of the media, style influencers, athletes, VIPs, and celebrities, were treated to a cocktail event that showcased Stance’s exciting new collections that will be exclusively distributed in Sneak Peek stores.
Glorified off court as a style risk taker, Wade makes for a perfect style collaborator. His capsule collection features 12 styles and the event marked the initial rollout of the Dwayne Wade Fall 2014 collection in local stores.
In collaboration with Calyann Barnett, creative director of Brand Wade, the Miami Heat icon has developed an assemblage of uniquely personal designs showcasing strong sublimation stories and vivid, bright colors in each of the collections.
Stance International sales manager Tyler Cannon flew to Manila specifically for the event, to properly introduce the brand.
Definitely eye-catching, Stance’s line of high socks befits the taste of more style-conscious individuals who make use of their everyday looks to express their individuality. The brand has long been favored by style risk takers all over the globe — those who are open to pushing the boundaries of style with pieces that aren’t the norm.
As such, the brand aims to redefine the way people look at socks, and wants people to start dressing from the feet up. Rather than just seeing it as a typical undergarment, Stance wants people to see it as a statement accessory and eventually, an integral piece within the local fashion scene.
