B'gay head Cordillera's most wanted

CAMP DANGWA - The present barangay captain of Poblacion, Lubuagan, Kalinga - who is wanted for double murder - is Cordillera region's "Most Wanted."

Barangay Captain Corey Dickpus is facing criminal charges before the regional trial court in the capital town of Tabuk, Kalinga, and tops the list of the 20 "Top Most Wanted Persons Regionwide" which was furnished The STAR by Col. Samuel Diciano, Cordillera police intelligence chief.

Dickpus is the "prime suspect in the massacre of five Pangasinan traders, shooting to death Johnson Dawaton and Richmund Fariñas."

Of the Cordillera's most-wanted men, six are from Baguio City, four from Kalinga, three from Abra, two from Benguet, two from Ifugao, and one from Apayao.

The other wanted men (second to 10th) are Liston Dolo of Buguias, Benguet (multiple murder); Richelle Regunton of Bangued, Abra (rape); Rolando Sabalo alias Buslog of Cosili East, Bangued, Abra (murder); Eddie Prezzas of Bulu, Tabuk, Kalinga (rape); Catalino Taclawan of Pinukpuk, Kalinga (murder); Jarson Kumawil of Baguio City (robbery with homicide); Tom Prades of Queen of Peace, Baguio City (murder and estafa); Jimmy Damitan of Banaue, Ifugao (murder); Reno Pay-en of Otocan, Mt. Province (murder).

(11th to l20th) Lodencio Betaga of Itogon, Benguet (robbery with homicide); Jerome Olanos of Itogon, Benguet (robbery with homicide); Joselino Buenafe of Bangued, Abra (murder); Leonardo Marcos of Alfonso Lista, Ifugao (robbery with double homicide); Marcos Valencia of Baguio City (rape); Romeo Carajay of Baguio City (rape); Puzon Duguit of Pinukpuk, Kalinga (double homicide); Allan Laroco of the "Dagdagan Group" of Baguio City and Pangasinan; Ruben Talosig of Kabugao, Apayao (murder); and Pablo Forag of Baguio City (robbery with homicide).
