MANILA, Philippines — The Senate will begin its inquiry into the death of law student Horacio “Atio” Castillo III on Monday evening.

Senate panels on public order, justice and constitutional amendments codes are conducting the investigation into the latest high-profile case on hazing in fraternities. Castillo succumbed to death after incurring injuries from alleged hazing rites.

The parents of Castillo and two suspects in his hazing death, John Paul Solano and Aeron Salientes, are expected to face senators at the Senate inquiry.

The proceeding was scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
