Weather disturbance affects Luzon, Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines — An intertropical convergence zone is affecting Mindanao while the ridge of a high-pressure area is affecting Luzon, the state weather bureau said yesterday.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rainshowers and localized thunderstorms.

Luzon will have light to moderate winds and coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Light to moderate winds will prevail in the Visayas, PAGASA said. ?
