MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has named former Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno as board member of the North Luzon Railways Corp.
 
Moreno, whose real name is Francisco Moreno Domagoso, was appointed to the post last July 12, appointment papers released Wednesday showed.
 
In a text message, Moreno said the Bases Conversion and Development Authority board has chosen him as the chairman and chief executive officer of the North Luzon Railway Corp.
 
Moreno, a former actor, ran for senator under the ticket of Sen. Grace Poe but lost. He was vice mayor of Manila from 2007 to 2016. He is also a resource person of the National Democratic Front, the panel that represents the communist rebels in the peace talks with the government.
 
Duterte has also appointed Marco Ho as board member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB). Known for his “Bogart the Explorer” videos, Ho is a co-host of Sebastian Duterte, the president's son, on the TV5 travel show “Lakbai”.

Alberto Dalusung III (board member of the National Renewable Energy Board) Karol Yee (executive director IV of the Commission on Higher Education), Omar Tonsay (director III of the Customs bureau), Othello Dalanon  (director I of the Bureau of Internal Revenue), Hilda Ibuyan (board member of the Board of Pardons and Parole),  Juan Cuna – (Environment undersecretary), Edmundo Gammad (member of the Civil Aeronautics Board), Virgilio Carreon, Jr. (director II of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration), Eduardo del Rosario (Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council chair), Marah Querol and Rizalino Justol (members of the Committee on Awards for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees - Dangal ng Bayan Award), Mary Uy (executive director V of the Council for the Welfare of Children), James Layug (director III of the Customs bureau), Sergio Yap II (Justice assistant secretary), Isabelo Tibayan III (director III of the Customs bureau), and Chris Millado (member of the Cinema Evaluation Board of the Film Development Council of the Philippines).
