MANILA, Philippines - Vice President Leni Robredo will start hosting today a weekly public service radio program that will cover topics aligned with her advocacies as the second highest elected official of the land.
Titled BISErbisyong LENI, Robredo will co-host the one-hour program with broadcaster Ely Saludar.
It will be aired at 9 a.m. every Sunday over RMN-dzXL 558 kHz with simulcast over RMN-Cebu, RMN-CDO, RMN-Davao and RMN-Naga. It will also be aired live on the RMN Facebook page.
The Office of the Vice President said the program will discuss topics on public service and legal advice. Key personalities will be interviewed on the agreed-upon topic for the week.
For the pilot episode, the program will focus on the state of nutrition in the Philippines and Mothers’ Day.
Robredo and Saludar will interview today nutrition advocate Dyan Rodriguez and solo parent Lorna Tambaoan.
Tambaoan was previously featured on Istorya Ng Pag-Asa, a campaign of the OVP that features extraordinary stories of ordinary people.
