A peek at Indonesia’s rich culture

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

Indonesia has come to the Philippines!

Marco Polo Davao, Mindanao’s first and only premier hotel, hosted the Indonesian Culinary Festival in partnership with the Consulate General of Indonesia in Davao City led by Consul General Berlian Napitupulu. The hotel is under the leadership of hardworking general manager Dottie Würgler-Cronin.

The delightful event, graced by Indonesian Ambassador Johny Lumintang, was made more vibrant by the colorful Indonesian batik, decorations and cultural presentations.

An exquisite gastronomic adventure followed with authentic Indonesian dishes and beverages prepared by guest chefs Joko Wiyono and Mukhamad Solihin.

The celebration included a special dinner buffet promotion at the hotel’s signature outlet Café Marco, a cooking demonstration with the Indonesian chefs as well as an art exhibit by talented artist Sri Hadhy.

Congratulations, Dottie and the entire Marco Polo Davao team, for this highly successful event!
