Going Lokal

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) secretary Ramon Lopez and Robinsons Department Store president and COO Robina Gokongwei-Pe led the recent ceremonial launching of the first Go Lokal! store in Robinsons Place Manila. A DTI-initiated program to bring the best of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to mainstream consciousness, Go Lokal! offers world-class indigenous Filipino products while offering value for money for targeted consumers and tourists. The program is a platform for young upstarts to test the marketability of their products without the fear of losing rental and commercial costs because their experience is free of charge. Kudos to DTI and Robinsons for this most worthy advocacy!

Going Organique

Açaí berries are known in the mainstream fitness scene as a new superfood thanks to its high level of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Thanks to Organique Açaí Premium Blend, this new superfood is finally in our shores. Led by Organique Inc. owners and health and fitness buffs Elton Salimbangon and his wife Cathy, the Premium Blend recently received an overhaul. “In order to thrive in a global market, we enlisted the help of a top designer we met during the Organic and Natural Health Show in London,” Cathy said. “This new label incorporates nature in a simple yet elegant manner. With this, we aim to reach consumers worldwide and showcase our premium-quality organic products.” Organique Açaí Premium Blend is so wonderfully beneficial, even celebrities and fitness aficionados like Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez and Regine Tolentino cannot keep away from these berries! Kudos to Elton and Cathy for promoting a good and healthy lifestyle!
