PSL tankers sisimulan na ang paghakot ng ginto

MANILA, Philippines -  Walong Philippine Swimming League (PSL) tankers ang unang mapapalaban sa pagsisimula ngayong araw ng 2017 Japan Age-Group Swimming Championship sa St. Mary’s International School swimming pool sa Tokyo, Japan.

Unang sasalang sina Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary-Parañaque, Aubrey Tom ng International Learning Academy of Cainta, Triza Haileyana Tabamo ng Holy Spirit of Tarlac at Julianne Cristine Javier ng National University na magtatangka sa girls’ 200m crescendo medley relay.

Aariba rin sina Marc Bryan Dula ng Weisenheimen Academy, Lee Grant Cabral ng Diliman Preparatory School, Sean Terence Zamora ng University of Santo Tomas at Dave Angelo Tiquia ng National University sa boys’ 200m crescendo medley relay.

“We had a light training today (Friday) to let them feel the temperature in the pool. It’s a bit colder here in Tokyo right now and these kids are not used to this kind of weather. But they’re all well and ready to win medals for our country,” pahayag ni PSL President Susan Papa.

Matapos ang relay, sunod na lalarga ang individual events kung saan sisisid ng ginto sina Mojdeh (girls’ 9-10 100m butterfly, 50m butterfly, 100m breaststroke at 200m Individual Medley), Tom (girls’ 9-10 50m backstroke, 100m freestyle, 50m butterfly at 50m freestyle), Dula (boys’ 9-10 100m butterfly, 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke at 200m IM), Cabral (boys’ 9-10 50m backstroke, 100m freestyle, 50m freestyle at 100m breaststroke), at Zamora (boys’ 15-18 100m butterfly, 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke at 200m IM) sa kani-kanilang events.

Hahataw din sina Martin Pupos sa boys’ 15-18 50m freestyle, 200m IM, 200m freestyle at 100m butterfly; Yshie Ortiguera sa girls’ 11-12 50m freestyle, 200m IM, 100m freestyle at 100m backstroke; Trixie Ortiguera sa girls’ 9-10 50m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 50m breaststroke at 100m breaststroke at Trump Luistro sa boys’ 8-under 25m freestyle, 25m butterfly, 50m freestyle at 50m butterfly.

Nagpasalamat si Papa kina District 2820 Club of Tsukuba Ibaraki President Atushi Amemiya, District 3810 Rotary Club of Manila Remedios Circle President Elect Marie Grace Macatangay, former President Marcelino Dalen na siyang delegation head, Akihuko Sudo ng Fujita Trading Corporation at Hiroshi Katsumata ng Katsumata Boxing Promotions.

Ang iba pang magtatangka sa medalya ay sina Ja­brielle Delizo (boys’ 9-10 50m freestyle at 200m IM), Joco Delizo (boys’ 13-14 400m freestyle at 200m IM), Alexi Lucile Gapultos (girls’ 11-12 50m freestyle at 200m IM), Jacob Gapultos (boys’ 8-under 50m freestyle at 100m backstroke), Jude Gapultos (boys’ 8-under 25m freestyle at 50m butterfly) at Master Charles Janda (boys’ 8-under 25m backstroke at 100m IM).
