Power outage to hit Pampanga
MABALACAT, Philippines – A power interruption will be experienced in this city and in Barangay Sta. Lucia in Magalang town today, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) and the Pampanga Electric Cooperative 2 (Pelco 2) announced yesterday.
The 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. power outage will facilitate the correction of a misaligned switch and other maintenance works at the Mexico sub-station, the NGCP said in an advisory.
Pelco 2 said they would also replace feeder meters at the Mabiga station and relocate poles in Barangay Sta. Maria to give way to a road widening project of the Department of Public Works and Highways, right-of-way clearing of lines, replacement of rotten poles and feeder cutouts as well as the relocation of a feeder in Barangay Bundagul.
