Power outage to hit Nueva Ecija

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines – Parts of Nueva Ecija will be affected by a power interruption tomorrow, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said yesterday. 

Ernest Vidal, NGCP regional communications and public affairs officer, said the power outage would pave the way for maintenance works at the Talavera and Natividad substations of the Nueva Ecija Electric Cooperative II. 

The towns of Talavera, Natividad, Palayan, Bongabon, Gabaldon, Laur, Rizal, Sta. Rosa, San Leonardo, Penarada, General Tinio, Fort Magsaysay, San Isidro, Gapan, San Antonio, Jaen and Cabiao would be affected by the power interruption. 

The blackout is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, 1:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.
