Oil firms hike fuel prices

MANILA, Philippines - Oil firms raised prices of all fuel products today, reflecting world market movements.
In separate advisories, Eastern Petroleum Corp., PTT Philippines, and SeaOil Philippines Inc. said they raised gasoline prices by P0.50 per liter, diesel prices by P0.30 per liter and kerosene by P0.30 per liter starting 6 a.m. today.
Flying V said it implemented the same price adjustments across fuel products starting 12:01 a.m.
Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines and UniOil Petroleum Philippines Inc. have yet to make an announcement as of press time but they are expected to implement similar price adjustments.
