Ang champion team Diliman Preparatory School swimming team kasama ang mga Most Outstan­ding Swimmer awardees at sina Philippine Swimming League President Susan Papa, Secretary General Maria Susan Benasa at Regional Director Joan Moj­deh.

MANILA, Philippines – Nahablot ng Diliman Preparatory School ang overall championship title sa 107th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series na ginanap sa Diliman Preparatory School swimming pool sa Quezon City.

Nakalikom ang DPS Dragons ng 533 puntos upang ungusan ang Blue Rays Swim Club na umani lamang ng 441 para sa ika­lawang puwesto at Joey Andaya Seagulls na pu­mangatlo bitbit ang 440.5 puntos.

Pasok sa Top 10 ang Club Manila East (423), Camp Aguinaldo Streamline (392), Susan Papa Swim  Academy-Parañaque (375), University of the Phi­lippines (357), Amoranto Swimming Team (337), Golden Seacow ((328) at Navotas Swimming Team (323).

May 20 tankers naman ang ginawaran ng Most Oustanding Swimmer awards sa Class C sa pangunguna nina Tara Beard ng British School Manila (girls’ 6-under) at Rafael Jon Escalona ng Camp Aguinaldo Streamline (boys’ 6-under).

Ang iba pang MOS awardees ay sina Jada Corrine Cruz (7), Leila Gallardo (8), Rinal Angel De Silva (9), Simone Toira Rosayaga (10), Ixidorre Mikhaila Cajucom (11), Jasmine Lee Omolon (12), Juliana Villanueva (13), Diana Elizabeth Baldazo (14) at Jazmine Francheska Mirasol (15-over) sa girls’ class.

Wagi naman sa boys’ category sina Aldin Montalban (7), Thyrone Somera (8), Lord Benedict Janda (9), Araz Joseph Baldazo (10), Eldric Meynard Dela Cruz (11), Alfonzo Torrico (12), Julian Ezekiel Galgana (13), Diego Luis Azarcon (14) at Mark Kevin Santos (15-over).

“We’ve already selected some swimmers who qualified to represent our country in some major international tournaments that we’ll be joining. Our training will start early. It will be every wee­kends at the DPS swimming pool,” wika ni PSL President Susan Papa.
