ABS-CBN tumaya sa visa application ni Robin sa US

Nakatutok ang fans ni Robin Padilla sa visa application niya sa US Embassy para makapiling siya ni Mariel Rodriguez sa pagsisilang nito sa kanilang panganay.

US citizen si Mariel kaya pinili nito na manganak sa Amerika pero nahihirapan si Robin na makakuha ng US visa dahil sa naging kaso niya noon, ang illegal possession of firearms, na sanhi ng kanyang pagkakakulong.

Hiningi ni Robin ang tulong ng ABS- CBN executive na si Linggit Tan na nagpadala ng sulat sa US Embassy bilang guarantee na babalik sa Pilipinas ang aktor.

Ito ang bahagi ng sulat ni Linggit na ipinadala nito sa US Embassy dahil sa pagnanais niya na matulungan si Robin.

“I am writing to request for an appointment schedule with the Consul General to appeal for the reconsideration of the USA Visa Application of Mr. Robinhood Carino Padilla, also known as “ Robin Padilla” an actor and exclusive talent of ABS CBN.

“He would like to seek for special approval from the Consul General on his application for Tourist Visa to the United States to be able to accompany and be with his wife, Mariel Padilla, an American citizen by virtue of his father, who is giving birth this November.

“She is now staying with her Aunt residing in Wyoming, United States.

“I have known Mr. Padilla since he was a teenager,as a newcomer in show business and we have worked together for the past 30 years.Thus, I can attest to his good nature and kind heart through the years.

“To further support his appeal, I am attaching here his binding agreement with ABS CBN as our Talent which states the duration until December 2017.

“This is to prove on his behalf, that if given the chance to visit his family and assure the safety condition of Ms.Padilla and their child, he will come back and return to the Philippines to perform his obligation with our company, as we are having a television show featuring Mr. Padilla this coming January 2017.

“I have also attached herewith,the summary of his travels outside the Philippines and the summary of his contract engagement with his Product  Endorsements.

“It is a known fact that Robin had a run in with the law many years ago but he has served and returned to civilian life and furthered his acting career.

“Our network will sign a waiver or whatever is needed to assure Robin’s good intentions and conduct during his US travel. We would like to present the circumstances of this case for your office’s utmost consideration.

“I hope you find in your heart the consideration for a father and a  husband who just wants to be with his loved ones during the most important part of their lives and see that both of them are in good condition and safe.

“Thank you very much for taking time to read this appeal. Looking forward to your feedbck on the schedule of the requested appointment with the Consul General.”

Paulo nahirapan din sa Visa

Ang kaso ni Paulo Avelino ang naalaala ko nang mabasa ko ang sulat ni Linggit para sa US Embassy.

Nang magbuntis noon ang kanyang girlfriend na si LJ Reyes, nag-apply si Paulo ng US Visa pero na-deny.

Pinili ni LJ na magsilang sa New York at dahil walang US Visa si Paulo, hindi ito nakasunod sa Amerika.

Hinintay na lang ni Paulo na umuwi ng Pilipinas si LJ at ang kanilang anak na si Aki na isang American citizen. Bukas na aklat sa publiko ang love story nina Paulo at LJ na hindi rin nagtagal ang relasyon dahil naghiwalay rin sila.

Nagkaroon na lang si Paulo Avelino ng US Visa dahil sa mga show ng mga artista ng ABS CBN sa Amerika.

Pabalik-balik naman si LJ sa New York dahil dito nakatira ang nanay niya.

Ate Vi sa Japan nag-birthday

Happy birthday kay Lipa House Representative Vilma Santos-Recto na nagdiriwang ngayon ng kaarawan.

For a change, nag-celebrate ang Star for All Seasons ng birthday sa Japan, kasama ang mga mahal niya sa buhay.

More blessings at good health ang mga birthday wish ko kay Mama Vi na tunay na icon sa Philippine showbiz. Hindi na mahihigitan pa ng ibang mga artista ang achievements ni Mama Vi bilang aktres at public servant. Bagay na bagay talaga sa kanya ang title na Star for All Seasons.
