San Juan vendor wins P27.5-M lotto pot
MANILA, Philippines - A 70-year-old vendor from San Juan City has claimed the jackpot of the 6/42 Regular Lotto’s Oct. 22 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.
The vendor guessed the six-digit winning combination, 09-10-21-31-41-02, which has a jackpot of P27,592,968, said PCSO general manager Alexander Balutan.
The winner, a food vendor, has been a lotto bettor since 1996 and won the draw through a random pick.
Balutan said the winner plans to invest in a business and share his winnings with his four children and save for his future needs.
“Keep your winning a secret as you have many relatives who will come looking for you,” he said as he handed the check over to the vendor at the PCSO central office in Mandaluyong.
The 6/42 Regular Lotto online game is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
