Sebastian: ‘Ninja cops’ behind proliferation of illegal drugs
MANILA, Philippines – High-profile inmate Jaybee Sebastian revealed on Monday that “ninja cops” who recycle and resell illegal drugs seized in operations are the main cause of the rampant illegal drug trade in the country.
Standing as a witness on House committee on Justice hearing, Sebastian said that the ninja cops are still on duty under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Dito ko din nasaksihan ang sunud-sunod na nahuhuli na mga bodega ng Chinese drug lords, 150 kgs, 180kgs, 300kgs, diumano ngunit malayo ito sa ipinapakita sa telebisyon o media, hindi idinedeklara ang tunay na dami ng nahuli sa media,” Sebastian stated in his affidavit.

He said that the ninja cops are controlled by another high-profile inmate and by former Police Chief Inspector Clarence Dongail, who also testified against Sen. Leila de Lima, former Justice secretary.
“Ang mga shabu na nasamsam o nakumpiska galing sa mga bodega ng Chinese druglords ay kanilang paghahati-hatian ang malaking porsiyento nito at muling ibebenta sa publiko,” Sebastian said.
“Ito ang tunay na dahilan kung bakit lalong lumalaganap ang droga sa Pilipinas,” he added.

Sebastian said that this was the reason behind the supposed riot in Bilibid that killed Tony Co and that left him and other inmates injured.
“Dahil sa aming nalalaman, kaya pinatay si Co at sinaksak ako at si Peter Co upang patahimikin kami at hindi makapagsalita dito,” Sebastian claimed.
Before testifying, Sebastian, through his lawyer, said that he only wanted to talk to Duterte, but the president refused as he “does not talk to criminals.”
“Ito ang dahilan kaya nais ko lamang kay Pangulong Duterte magsalita, upang sabihin ng personal ang aking nalalaman dahil nangangamba ako para sa aking buhay,” the high-profile inmate explained.
“Natatakot din ako sa mga galamay ni Dongail na matataas na opisyales sa ating kapulisan na sa kasalukuyan ay aktibong nanilnilbihan pa rin sa ilalim ng administration ni Pangulong Duterte.”
