MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) will soon conduct “Oplan Tokhang” at TV stations to go after celebrities who are into illegal drugs.

PNP Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa said on Monday that there would be no special treatment for TV personalities.

“Katukin natin sa kani-kaniyang bahay, kani-kaniyang TV station.  Sabihin natin na surrender na kayo kasi identified kayo na user,” Dela Rosa said.

“Tinokhang nga natin yung mga high-end subdivisions, sila pa na public figure. They should be open to the public,” he added.

Last weekend, newly appointed Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Chairman Martin Diño said that the new “narco list” of President Rodrigo Duterte includes names of celebrities.

Diño revealed that most celebrities on the list are taking party drugs, while others are also working as pushers.

Dela Rosa, meanwhile, admitted that he has not yet seen the new list of the president.

Just yesterday, former sexy actress Karen Pallasigue, also known as Sabrina M. was arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation in Quezon City.

Pallasigue was nabbed along with two others in Pasong Tamo, Quezon City, where police also seized three sachets of suspected shabu, lighters and other drug paraphernalia.

Oplan Tokhang is being conducted in all barangays in the country, including posh villages in Metro Manila to persuade drug users and pushers to voluntarily surrender.
