SC consolidates 3 petitions vs Marcos burial
MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday consolidated the three petitions filed against a hero's burial for the late President Ferdinand Marcos.
The camps of former Bayan Muna Party-list Rep. Satur Ocampo, Albay Rep. Edcel Lagman and former Commission on Human Rights chairperson Loretta Rosales have filed separate petitions against the burial of Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
The high court has scheduled the preliminary conference and oral arguments on August 22 and 24 for the petition filed by Ocampo.

Citing time constraints, the SC decided to consolidate the three cases against the burial of Marcos.
The preliminary conference and oral arguments of the three cases have been set on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.
The petitioners and respondents were required to attend the preliminary conference on Monday and the oral arguments on Wednesday at the Supreme Court.
