VP Leni joins first Cabinet meeting

MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday attended her first Cabinet meeting under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Duterte recently appointed Robredo to lead the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) and asked her to attend the Cabinet meeting in Malacañang.
The Presidential Communications Office released photos of Robredo's first Cabinet meeting on its social media accounts.

The council coordinates government policy on housing and development. The Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), Home Guaranty Corp., Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board, National Housing Authority, National Home Mortgage Finance Corp., and Social Housing Finance Corp. are attached agencies of the HUDCC.
Former Vice Presidents Noli de Castro and Jejomar Binay also headed the HUDCC during their terms of office. — Patricia Lourdes Viray
