Skyway, SLEX, Star offer free toll on Christmas and New Year's eve

MANILA, Philippines - Motorists may pass through Skyway, South Luzon Expressway and Star Tollway for free on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Toll is free on the said expressways from 10 p.m. of December 24 to 6 a.m. of December 25 and from 10 p.m. of December 31 to 6 a.m. of Jan. 1, 2015.

According to a radio report, the administration of the expressways are already prepared for travelers going home to the provinces for the holiday season.

Expressway administrations vowed to intensify security operations from December 21 to Jan. 4, 2015.
