Nancy Binay to Pnoy: Let Abad go!

MANILA, Philippines - Senator Nancy Binay sang to the tune to theme song, "Let It Go" from popular Disney movie's Frozen as she echoed the snowballing call for Budget Secretary Florencio Abad to resign from post.

"The decision was not only unfortunate but I think it was a bad one. As said by Elsa, let him go, let him go," said Binay, referring to the lead character in the Disney animated film. 

Binay was joined by her colleague in the Senate minority group, Senator Juan Victor Ejercito who described Abad's resignation as "ceremonial."

Ejercito scored Abad's resignation as ceremonial as it was not irrevocable. 

Ejercito also denounced the Aquino administration's logic of good faith in creating the illegal DAP fund. 

"Whatever happened to Daang Matuwid? Is a violation of the highest law of the land acceptable now as long as it was done in good faith? Pwede na palang gumawa ng mali basta't ito ay makakatulong sa bayan?" the senator said.

Ejercito challenged Abad that instead of employing political maneuvers, he should release to the public the full list of DAP recipients and its sources.
