Congress proclaiming president, vice president
Leni Robredo is joined by her three daughters as she is proclaimed the incoming vice president of the Philippines.
Congress proclaims Rodrigo Duterte and Leni Robredo as president-elect and vice president-elect of the Philippines. It takes some time for Robredo to reach the rostrum inside the Plenary Hall of the House of Representatives she greets colleagues on her way there.
At the rostrum are Senate President Franklin Drilon and House Speaker Sonny Belmonte.
The start of the joint session of Congress to proclaim the winning president and vice president is a bit delayed. Here is a clip from inside the House of Representatives' Plenary Hall where the proclamation ceremony will be held.
