3rd CSR Youth Awards nominations now open

MANILA, Philippines -  Clarissa Delgado founded Teach for the Philippines, a non-profit organization that allows young Filipino leaders to teach in public schools across the country. Arcie Mallari founded Silid Aralan Inc., which helps low-performing, underprivileged students raise their academic standing and their self-esteem. Mark Ravanzo took his experience with armed conflict and used it to establish I AM M.A.D., a volunteer-driven program designed to help children cope with the trauma of war and learn the right values.

Besides being young and inspiring leaders in the CSR arena, the three have one other thing in common: they are all winners of the CSR Youth Awards.

Now on its third year, the CSR Youth Awards is an initiative of the Benita and Catalino Yap Foundation (BCYF), in partnership with Deloitte Philippines, that recognizes young Filipino leaders between the ages 18 and 39 who have made CSR a lifestyle and are making a big impact in the areas of citizenship, sustainability, or social responsibility.

Nominations for this year’s awards are now open. We are looking for young students and professionals who have led a CSR initiative or activity for at least two years that has resulted in a measurable and verifiable positive impact on a community, and that is viable as a continuing effort.
