MANILA, Philippines — Travelers are often faced with the dilemma of having foreign bills and coins left from their recent trip. So what's the best thing to do with them?

Don't let your money's value be put to waste by keeping the foreign currency stashed somewhere in your closet. Convert them into real digital money directly at the airport via the TravelersBox kiosks which allow travelers to deposit their leftover foreign coins and bills into various eWallets and online accounts such as PayPal, iTunes and Google Play.

“TravelersBox essence rooted in our partners’ values. With our technology, money that was worthless due to currency differences, become valuable again ” TravelersBox CEO Tomer Zussman said in a statement.

Just recently, TravelersBox entered in a partnership with Viber, allowing travelers to deposit leftover currency to their Viber account, which can then be converted to calls to mobiles and landline numbers worldwide at low rates.

“One of our top missions is to find the right partners to give travelers the most out of their leftover currency. Viber, which allows people to to call any phone number at low rates, is a natural partner for us," Zussman said.

With more than 75 kiosks in eight countries, the company had announced further expansion throughout Asia during 2016. TravelersBox fees may vary based on the location, transaction amount and product, ranging from 3 to 7 percent.

“When we learned about the solution provided by TravelersBox, we immediately understood the value it holds for Viber Out users,” Viber's Fintech lead Robi Kopel said.

In the Philippines, the kiosks operate in Manila at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 (near Starbucks) and Terminal 3 (International Departure Gates).
