All I want for Christmas is at Cyberzone

Making a Christmas gift list can be such a daunting task, as it seems to grow longer every year. Not only that, we always have to struggle with the last-minute rush to find the perfect present for those dear to us.

Gift giving is never easy. So, when Santa asks what’s on your wish list, don’t be pakipot. If you want a gadget, be specific. Better yet, bring Santa to Cyberzone, the ultimate technology and lifestyle center of SM Supermalls, just to give him an idea ofthe must-have “toys” for 2013.

With 27 branches and touted as the largest chain of IT retail stores in the country, SM Cyberzone allows tech heads or techno geeks to indulge in their passion as it offers all kinds of electronic gadgets — mobile phones, cameras, computers, software, games, and accessories — and services.

And so, if Santa treats celebrities Randy Ortiz, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Rovilson Fernandez, Karen Bordador, Tony Toni, and Rosebud Benitez to a gadgets shopping spree at Cyberzone, here’s what they’ll buy:

Rosebud Benitez, celebrity chef and host of Quickfire on  QTV 11

Showing her versatility as host, chef, writer, consultant, and instructor, Rosebud is making a mark in the fields of entertainment, society and the academe. No wonder several companies see her as a suitable and socially credible spokesperson for their brands and products.

This Christmas Rosebud wants to reward herself — for her hard work — with an iMac and the newest iPhone 5.

“I’m an Apple fan. I’m also lusting over high-end speakers for my iMac,” Rosebud adds.

Alodia Gosiengfiao, cosplayer model, artist and actress

Her remarkable achievements in the cosplay community — here and abroad — make Alodia Gosiengfiao one of the most bankable celebrity product endorsers in the country today.

Alodia’s interests are as varied as her cosplay ensembles. For one, she loves to take photos and she travels a lot. And if Santa treats her to a gadgets shopping spree at SM Cyberzone, she’ll definitely buy the Canon 5D Mk3 and lens — either the 50mm f/1.4 or a wide-angled one.

“I’m into photography and I love to explore different places. And it’s important for me to document events and memories.  Many instances in your life you only experience once and this set will not only capture it, but will also blow you away! So many customizable settings plus it’s an SLR that can capture HDR (high-dynamic range) photos in one click! There’s no need for post-processing” enthuses Alodia, who was named by UNO magazine as one of the Most Influential Women in the Philippines.

The cosplay princess is also one of the ambassadors and VJ for Animax-Asia known as “Ani-mates,” and co-host of ABS-CBN’s prank show Laugh Out Loud.

Karen Bordador, radio personality, Wild and Wicked, Monster Radio RX93.1

Samsung Galaxy S3 tops Karen Bordador, aka TeacherK’s, wish list this Christmas because she seriously needs a mobile phone with a sharp camera. A commercial and print model, Karen loves to dress up and engage in a lot of activities.

“I can’t capture the precious moments in my career and personal life because I don’t have a nice cam-phone. I barely post anything on Instagram because of that. I’ll also get a Kindle so I can bring books wherever I am. Plus, I’m dreaming of a gadget that’s all about looking for lost things. I dislike misplacing things! “ shares Karen, who was No. 52 on FHM Singapore’s 100 sexiest list for 2011, the only Filipina on the list “unless you consider Vanessa Hudgens.”

Karen is also a VJ for Happy Endings on www.FLIPPISH.com. It airs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 p.m. Onwards.

Tony Toni, DJ and host

Boys Night Out host Tony Toni loves to travel so he needs a camera that’s packed with features.

“I need to take photos of all the places I visit. The Sony TX-20 is a good choice because it’s shock, water, dust and freeze proof,” notes Tony, host of the travel show, Where’s Tony?, on TFC.

He’ll also ask Santa to gift him with the iPhone 5 64gig because “I’m always on the go. It allows me to check my e-mails, get news updates and the happenings on social media. Plus, I love the apps available,” adds Tony.

Rovilson Fernandez, host of Ang Pinaka on QTV 11, WWF National Ambassador

Adrenaline junkie Rovilson Fernandez, who savored his 15 minutes of fame when he competed in The Amazing Race Asia Season 2 with buddy Marc Nelson, will ask Santa to upgrade his Apple MacBook Air to the new 15” Retina display.

“I’ve seen the display and it’s mesmerizing,” he adds.

Rovilson also wants the JBL/Bose desktop speakers for the laptop, a 1TB hard drive, and lastly, a Canon S100.

“It’s easy to use, easy to upload, stealthy and packed with features. It takes brilliant photos. This camera just keeps getting better and better,” added Rovilson.

Randy Ortiz, fashion designer

Randy Ortiz enjoys watching TV and tinkering with his laptop computer every night, “during which time I’m pretty tucked up in bed trying to unwind and relax after a hard day’s work.”

This Christmas, the gadgets Randy wants from Santa are the Samsung Ultrabook and Samsung Galaxy camera, which come handy during client meetings, fashion shows, or pictorials.
