Body Talk with an Archer & a Blazer

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star

Like Teng brothers Jeric (formerly of UST’s Growling Tigers and now with Rain Or Shine since 2013) and Jeron (of La Salle’s Green Archers), the Rivero brothers Rasheed Paolo (Rash) and Rashleigh Paolo (Prince) are rivals on the hardcourt but are buddy-buddies off the court. Rash, 18 (Aug. 29, 1996, Virgo) plays for Blazers of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde where he’s taking up BS-HRIM (Hospitality, Restaurant and International Management); and Prince, 19 (Feb, 19, 1995, Pisces), for Green Archers of La Salle where he’s taking up AB-PHM (Philippine Mass Media).

At 63.5-inches (weighing 212 lbs.), Prince is taller than the 5’10” Rash (183 lbs.). The older Rivero, now a Rookie, is called Prince Archer, once NCAA Juniors’ MVP (Most Valuable Player) and Best Defensive Player of Mythical 5.

They have taken after their father, Paolo “King” Rivero, strength and conditioning skills coach of Adamson Juniors, Chiang Kai Shek College Juniors and Barako Bull (of PBA).

Isn’t there any rivalry between the two of you?
