Gabby on Aly: A man with honor and a loving gentleman

Not since her failed romance with Piolo Pascual has KC Concepcion been passionately open with her current one, with Azkal Aly Borromeo…unless we can count as “romance” KC’s short-lived association with Paulo Avelino and a Frenchman. All you have to do is check out the Instagram accounts of both KC and Aly, and you will see how very much in love they are, so in love that you can only wish that there would be “forever” between them.

The first time we at Philippine STAR met Aly was a few years ago when he and fellow Azkals (including the Younghusband brothers Phil and James) dropped by for a visit. We found him easy to like, very friendly. No wonder KC’s dad, Gabby Concepcion, is all praises for Aly.

Funfare asked Gabby what he had to say about Aly and he texted back:

He is well-mannered, educated, sensitive, kind-hearted, a loving gentleman. He is a man with honor, dignified and commands the respect he well deserves. He comes from a good, respectable and talented family, a family that is proud to have a son like Aly Borromeo.

KC’s mom Sharon Cuneta posted a family picture which includes Aly, taken during the birthday dinner for KC’s stepdad Sen. Kiko Pangilinan at the family residence. Very clearly, Aly is now considered part of the Cuneta-Pangilinan family.

Texted for her impression of Aly, Sharon begged off in deference to KC’s feelings.

Oh well, Sharon needed not say a word. After all, doesn’t a picture speak a thousand words?

Incidentally, Gabby has just been signed up as endorser of Anagen Advanced Hair Rebuild System of Healthwell Nutraceuticals, Inc., an affiliate of YSA Skincare Corporation.

“I’m actually scared that I will soon have a receding hairline,” fiftyish Gabby was quoted as saying. “So even if that time hasn’t come yet, I’m taking steps to strengthen my hair.”
