A JaDinean PDA at the Jollibee event

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star

They sang together (Hanap-Hanap, No Erase and This Time), they exchanged sticky glances and then James Reid kissed the hand of his sweetheart Jadine Lustre with the cheering and approving applause of their JaDineans.

The kilig “soundtrack” to the Public Display of Affection (PDA) reverberated at the SM Mall Of Asia (MOA) Music Hall last Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the New Forever Love Fans Day sponsored by Jollibee to introduce JaDine’s new favorite, Sweet-Spicy BBQ Burger Steak (SSBBQBS), a 100-percent pure beef patty topped with a generous serving of special barbecue sauce and sweet corn kernels.

SSBBQBS is available both in one-piece solo at P50 and one-piece Value Meal at P55. Also offered are two-piece solo at P80 and two-piece Value Meal at P85 (prices may vary according to store location).

“The new SSBBQBS is just one of the product innovations we are launching this year,” said Francis Flores, Jollibee Global chief marketing officer and Philippine head of marketing. “We always strive to develop products that represent the myriad of flavors that Pinoys, including James and Nadine, love.”

After the event, James and Nadine sat for a brief interview with Funfare.

What do you love about the Jollibee item you are endorsing (nagbabaon ba kayo n’yan sa mga lakad n’yo)?

Nadine: I’m the sweet. We eat a lot. That’s actually my breakfast.

James: I’m the spicy. It’s our favorite.

Sino ang mas matakaw sa inyong dalawa?

James: Ako…ako talaga. Hehehe!

Do you give each other food as gifts (specify)?

Nadine: When he’s craving I make it a point to buy what he wants, like Japanese food for example.

James: Sweets for her.

Tell me about your diet.

Together: What diet? We eat what we want. Hehehe!

Busy as you are together with work, do you also spend your free time together, and how?

Nadine: We do go to the gym together; I’m a morning person.

James: I’m more pang-gabi. We’re both adventurous. We love photography, we love traveling together!

Have you learned to deal with bashers?

JaDine: What bashers? No, we really don’t mind them.

Tell us about your coming teleserye, Till I Met You.

Nadine: Ako pa lang ang nag-shoot.

James: We’re both excited. I haven’t gone to the shoot yet. (They are leaving for Greece soon to shoot some scenes and to celebrate their sixth monthsary. — RFL)
