Sexy Talk with Alessandra de Rossi

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo -

Can you believe that a beautiful, sexy, eligible and desirable lady like Alessandra de Rossi has been loveless for three years?

“Totoo,” confirmed Alex. “Tatlong tuyong-tuyo na taon.”

Which means that Alex will be having a blue Christmas again this year.

“I’m used to it,” she shrugged.

Is she choosy?

“Not really,” she said. She hasn’t gone into a relationship since she broke up with Jeremy Marquez. “I just want someone who will love me, who will understand me, who will take care of me. I’m not choosy. I’m just waiting for God to send someone to me. Si God ang choosy.”

Is she, uh, hard to understand?

“Actually, hindi naman. I’m just different and people know that. I’m not like other women na tahimik, although I can be submissive.”

Until the right one comes along, and especially now that she has spare time after doing the ABS-CBN soap Tayong Dalawa and waiting for her next soap (probably with Angel Locsin and Derek Ramsay), Alex is deadset on finishing her long-delayed album, titled Keep Distance, which she herself is releasing (one of the songs is Sailing, by Christopher Cross, which you can watch on YouTube).

She’s the new Soda endorser for underwear, joining Dennis Trillo and Rhian Ramos who endorse Soda clothes.

A Cancerian (July 19), Alex stands 5’7”, weighs 103 lbs., and wears small-sized shirt and size-8 shoes.

Vital statistics?

“Ten-24-35...Ten ‘yung leeg. Hahahaha! Puede ba secret na lang vital statistics ko?”

How do you maintain your whistle bait figure?

“Mag-puyat nang mag-puyat. Hahahahaha! It helps na mabilis ang metabolism ko, so I lose weight easily. There are times when I go on a hunger strike. Hindi ako kumakain ng tatlong araw, nagpapaawa ako kay God. Last week, nag-hunger strike ako.”

Really? What drives you to go on a hunger strike?

“Problem was friends, sa work. Para bang I deny myself, ‘O, sige, hindi ako kakain; malungkot ako!’ Ganoon.”

Otherwise, do you manage to take three square meals a day?

“It depends on the day. Sometimes, I would go home from a taping at 4 a.m., so I would wake up at 4 p.m. na, so dalawang meals na lang a day ‘yon. On a regular day, yes, I can take even five square meals a day. Big meals talaga. Malakas ako kumain baka hindi n’yo alam.”

What’s usually for breakfast?

“Doon ako mahina. I would just take tea. Lunch is heavy — kanin or pasta with ulam. I would take dinner pa. I try to eat healthy because you know naman the lifestyle of an artista, palaging puyat and you are exposed to the klieg lights which is bad for the skin, kaya dapat fresh ang kinakain mo. I eat anything, but I don’t overeat.”

What’s your favorite food?

“Honestly? ‘Yung ma-cholesterol. Hahahaha!”

And what food do you always crave?

“Luto ng Nanay ko. When she was here for vacation from Italy, she taught our maids how to cook, so lutong-Nanay pa rin ang kinakain ko.”

Favorite fruit?

“Banana.”

Vegetable?

“Eggplant and okra.”

What vitamins are you taking?

“I used to take multivitamins, Vitamin C and anti-oxidant. Lately, hindi. I’m not too tired naman kasi, eh. I take vitamins only kapag pagod ako sa work.”

How much water do you take per day?

“’Yon pa rin ang issue ko. I should take eight glasses per day but I can’t. Mga four to six glasses lang. Before I go to sleep, I would psychologize myself, ‘O, you have to take eight glasses tomorrow, ha.’ When I wake up in the morning, I forget all about it.”

Juices?

“Malakas ako d’yan — orange juice. Pati na rin iced tea and coffee.”

 Are you fond of sweets?

“No. I’m not.”

Do you have time to work out?

“Hardly. When I was doing Tayong Dalawa, I gained weight because you know naman where there’s taping, ang daming pagkain. So I thought I had a reason to go to the gym, pero wala ring nangyari.

Now that I am between jobs, pumayat ako ng bongga, so I don’t have to go to the gym.”

What part of your body needs some improvement?

“My face. Charot! Just joking. My boobs. I’m serious. Happy na ako sa kanila pero kung lalaki ng konti okey din.”

What part of your body is most vulnerable?

“My heart.”

Favorite part?

“Parts, actually — my legs, maganda daw sabi nila; cheekbones; and, sabi rin nila, maganda daw ‘yung balakang ko. Maganda naman talaga in fairness. Puede na. Hahahaha!”

What part of a man’s body do you notice first?

“The face. Buong mukha. I’m not fond of looking at a person from head to foot. Sa face lang talaga.”

How much sleep do you get per night?

“I should get eight hours. Or else, magsusuka ako.”

Favorite sleepwear?

“Now, I wear pajamas because it’s cold. Sometimes, underwear lang and tank top. Pero hindi ko na siya feel ngayon dahil kung minsan labas-pasok ang mga tao sa bahay; ayoko namang maabutan nila ako ng ganoon.”

How many pillows do you sleep with?

“Two regular-sized pillows under my head and two long ones beside me. Niyayakap-yakap ko dahil nga wala akong katabi, di ba? Sila ‘yung mga best friends ko.”

Do you snore?

“No. I don’t Nora Aunor. Hehehehehe!”

Do you talk in your sleep?

“I do sometimes, especially when I’m dreaming na malapit na akong magising. I would catch myself talking.”

The last thing that you do before you go to sleep?

“I pray.”

And the first thing that you do when you wake up?

“I yawn and resist the temptation to go back to sleep.”

How do you cope with stress?

“I listen to music. Or I compose songs.”

What’s your favorite hideaway?

“I have a best friend who lives in Pampanga. Kapag nalulungkot ako, I would call him, ‘O, punta ako d’yan.’ He’s a chef. Uy, hindi ko s’ya boyfriend ha! Friends lang kami.”

Favorite city?

“Sa ngayon? Siempre ‘yung huling napuntahan ko...Taipei. Ang saya ng shopping; ang saya ng mga tao, parang deadma lang sila sa earth.”

Outlook in life?

“Positive. Simple lang ang pangarap ko: I just want to be happy. Wala ako ng ‘sana maabot ko ‘to...sana mayroon ako ganito.’ I’m not like that.”

You have such delicious chocolate-brown complexion. How do you take care of it?

“Wala lang. I take enough sleep kasi kung hindi, dry ang skin mo. Sana nga, I could drink eight glasses of water per day kasi it’s good for the skin daw.”

Name three women you think have bodies as nice as yours.

“I can think of only two — Anne Curtis and Georgina Wilson.”

And three men...

“Ay, hindi ako mahilig sa nice bodies; puede ba sa face na lang? Si James Franco; si Ryan Reynolds; at si Heath Ledger.”

Using only body language, how would you make a guy know that you admire him?

“Kung seryosohan talaga, shy naman ako to make a move. Pero kung crush-crush lang, o sige, magpa-cute tayo at magtawanan. For today lang, ‘yung ganoon. Sasabihin ko, ‘You’re so cute; I crush you!’ And then magtatawanan na kami at magkukwentuhan na kami.”
