Supporter to the mayor. Butane refilling is now a growing business in Cebu. But according to the grapevine, this business is run by a single personality who is a very close friend and supporter of a city mayor. An Ear informer said his refilling stations which refill butane canisters with liquefied petroleum are sprawling all over the province, but escape fire and hazard regulations because of his closeness to this mayor.

Raided. One of his refilling stations in an industrial city was raided by the police. The Ear learned that his station was raided due to blatant violations. Well, had this city been run by his mayor-boss, the raid would not have been conducted. Officials of this city praised the police official for implementing the raid, despite the perceived "untouchable standing" of the owner.
