Using urban chaos to his advantage

STREET SMART. Reacting to a previous The Ear item about how jumbled and confusing the road layout of Cebu City was, a source said the disarranged mess that is Cebu City's streets can actually be an advantage to some people waiting for rides, especially during the rush hours.

The source said arrangement of the city's streets, including places where jeepneys complete a loop, take shortcuts, or trip cuts,  allow people to easily get the rides they want, it just takes a little familiarity where to wait and when.

"Staying in one place and walking one block or two can mean the difference between waiting for a ride for one hour, or just mere minutes," the source said.
