Terrible traffic

Displeasure. Facebook has, again, become a forum where commuters and motorists vent their displeasure over the traffic situation in Metro Cebu that, according to an Ear informer, is getting terrible each day. This Ear informer was able to monitor a raging post on Facebook by a former print journalist who is living in a subdivision in Minglanilla.

Appeal to solve. The former print journalist ranted over the very terrible traffic in his town. In his post, he purposely mentioned the name of the municipal mayor in his appeal to solve the traffic problem. But a columnist commented on this post that infrastructure project is the best solution to the problem in Minglanilla.

Solutions.  A reply from another journalist said that while infrastructure is the long-term solution to the traffic problem, the town officials failed to consider immediate solution by regulating habal-habal and tricycles that are blocking several junctions and successfully impeding the flow of traffic in the main highway. Also, this journalist observes that traffic aides are becoming friendly with the multicab PUJs, habal-habal, and tricycle drivers, thus no apprehensions happen.
