No rice, only cake

THE EAR - The Freeman

SKIP RICE. Believing that skipping rice during meals can help regulate his weight, an official of a national government agency would only eat meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables everytime he attends official functions.

HEALTHY DIET. This official keeps on convincing his colleagues in the office, including those who are in-charge of the security of their boss, to imitate his eating habit by skipping rice during meals. “The bodyguards readily followed his footsteps to this purported healthy diet,” an  Ear  informer said.

CAKE. But during afternoon meetings, this official is seen gobbling cakes. If he will not order chocolate cake, he would get carrot or cheese cakes. “Mas maayo pa may mag-rice nalang ko kay sa anang cake nga tam-is kaayo. Unya mahal man ang cake kay sa rice,” his colleague was quoted as saying.
