Lack of signage

THE EAR - The Freeman

LIGHT. Motorists and passengers from Mactan Island yesterday observed a light to moderate traffic situation along the Mactan-Mandaue bridge. But some said that there was no good traffic flow along the Marcelo Fernan bridge.

LACK OF SIGNAGES. Once again, the motorists and passengers from Lapu-Lapu City and Cordova town blamed the Department of Public Works and Highways for their failure to place signages. "Wala gyud ta'y makit-an nga sign nga abli na diay sa trapiko ang first bridge, mahinayak na hinuon ta'g agi sa second bridge," a passenger told The Ear.

UPDATE. Another passenger said they would learn updates about the repair of the Mactan-Mandaue bridge through newspaper and radio. But he said not all news organizations are accurate. He said: "Naay news nga hingpit na kunong ablihan ang first bridge nga temporary raman unta nang pag-bukas kay ayohon man gyud na nga taytayan. Libog lang ta."
