Cebu products

STAMP. A Cebuano general merchandise trader in Metro Manila has taken it upon himself to stamp all “major products” from Cebu with seals of origin that say: “Made in Cebu” or Proudly Cebu Product.” He said before stamping the seal he would first inform the producer and/or manufacturer about his move.

PROUD. “I’m a very proud Cebuano,” this trader said to our Ear informer. “Anything great coming from Cebu I want Manilans to know.” He said there are some good Cebu products being claimed as theirs by some non-Cebuano entrepreneurs.
