A Marry time at Marriott

There are countless details to attend to just to ensure that one of life’s most memorable events will stand out. And that’s what Marriott Manila’s team did when it presented its fifth #MarryMeAtMarriott event that showcased the best of everything wedding-related. 

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with fragrant fresh flower arrangements by the GMT team (Gideon Hermosa, Michael Ruiz and Teddy Manuel). Equally impressive was the outstanding buffet layout executed by chef Meik Brammer and his culinary team that included fresh seafood, a vegan bar and a tempting dessert table that gave everyone a chance to indulge without the guilt.

With the Grand Ballroom easily accommodating a thousand guests, an eight-tier wedding cake was dramatically lowered from the ceiling. The show opened and closed with two Mercedes-Benz units that had been brought in through the hotel’s car lifts and seamlessly driven inside the vast hall.

Marriott’s Michelle Garcia and TV personality Mark  Nelson hosted the affair. Headlining the fashion show were designers Hannah Kong, Happy Andrada, Avel Bacudio and Michael Leyva who showcased their bridal fashions — ranging from the traditional to the modern — worn by their muses, designer Patty Ang, artist Anne Curtis, Olympian Hidilyn Diaz and the cute flower girls who stayed way past their bedtime just to be able to walk down the ramp.
