Heart Evangelista takes her own hand-painted clutch bag to SONA
MANILA, Philippines - Heart Evangelista showed her love for fashion and art by bringing her own hand-painted bag at the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday.
Proving that she can kill the red carpet with any attire, the spouse of Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero opted for a simple knee-length Ivarluski Aseron terno and minimal accessories.
Topping of her sleek look is her fringed clutch that sparkled with gold paint which she did herself.
Netizens praised the Juan Happy Love Story star for being able to bring elegance and class despite toning down her outfit. In the afternoon, Heart ditched the traditional terno and wore an off-the-rack white coat and pants.

Heart has been painting designer bags since last year, after she was inspired by baby North West who splattered paint on the designer bag of her mother Kim Kardashian.
With her artistic way to breathe new life into handbags, Heart has gained a growing number of elite clientele including Regine Velasquez, Carla Abellana and Jinkee Pacquiao.
Heart will be putting up 40 hand-painted Hermes bags in an exhibit this September.
