Fashion and music merge at Forever 21
MANILA, Philippines – Music and fashion merge as Forever 21, one of the most recognized and largest independent fashion retailers in the world, launches its summer 2016 campaign featuring model-musician-sister duo, Pyper Smith and Daisey Clementine of The Atomics.
Pyper and Daisey’s carefree and playful attitude is a perfect fit for the campaign that pays homage to the iconic fashion era of the ‘90s. The collection provides a chic modern twist on the decade that is synonymous with grunge-punk trends — think tattoo choker necklaces, cropped cuts, tie-dye, daisy and sunflower prints, acid wash denim, and overalls.
The women’s collection features colorful and neutral prints and patterns for free-spirited girls who like to have fun with dresses with attitude. There are lightweight knits to keep you warm on cool summer nights; attention-grabbing swimwear; cropped knit tops that can be dressed up or down. Denim also rocks in fun pieces: mini skirts, cut-off shorts, button-up shirts and jeans.
The men’s collection also focuses on distressed denim — jackets, jeans, shirts, and shorts — paired with wardrobe basics: basic tees and marled gray hoodies. Perfect for a relaxing getaway on the beach or chilling out at a music fest.
Getting the F21 summer look was made easier during the Style Insider event, an in-store personal styling and shopping service through Forever 21’s in-house stylists. This service is offered for free at all Forever 21 stores with no purchase requirement.
